I found this quote on another blog. I loved it and wanted to share:
"There are many of the sisters whose labors are not known beyond their own dwellings and perhaps not appreciated there, but what difference does that make? If your labors are acceptable to God, however simple the duties, if faithfully performed, you should never be discouraged."
-Eliza R. Snow (see Ensign, December 1977, p. 38.)

Encouraging words! Too often "women's work" goes unnoticed, unappreciated by others. . . .
I love Eliza R. Snow. She had such a wonderful way of seeing past the confusing "muck" that so often blinds us, then expressing the truth so simply... yet profoundly. This quote is a wonderful example. Very touching.
I am new to your blog; but wanted to thank you most deeply for this quote. Being a stay at home mom means most of my work goes unseen; although I have an amazing husband who does try to see, I still get down many days.
Thank you again.
